    1. Yeah, I had one get eaten. I have replanted that one and a slow germinating one too but don't know if they will do well in the upcoming heat or not.

  3. Try frying them in butter, with some Thyme... Cook until slightly brown at the edges,

  4. My squash also didn't make it. Thinking about trying again. In the meantime I purchased some from Local Farmers market and will be having some for dinner tonight. I cook it the same way you, love it.

    2. Becky,

Sorry I didn't clarify. I was adding to Lynda's comment that she had to replant hers. I thought I had replied on her comment but must have hit the wrong reply button. But, my comment on how to cook them is related to yours. Sorry for the confusion.

    3. Ok, I knew I was missing something. Sometimes blogger doesn't seem to put comments in order.

  5. I planted mine yesterday. I hope I get a good harvest, but I won't get them for ages. Right now I'm just looking forward to the peas.

    1. We only call the green ones zucchini and the yellow ones are just yellow squash or summer squash.

    2. Over here our Summer Squash is what you call Button Squash. Sure makes for some headaches following International recipes :o)
