Pallet Fence- Part 3--The Finished Gate

Phil finished the gate today while I was at work. The cats have yet to figure out how to get over it. They climb up the back side and sit on it but can't figure out how to go down the other side. One of the kittens tried to go via the fig tree but, of course it doesn't extend over the fence.
Raining yet again tonight. I believe that makes 6 days in a row. The animals are going to float away soon.

    1. LOL, I love it. I love the gate though too, now if we can just get the other side done.

  4. Looks like a good job done. Can the cats not squeeze out between the vertical slats? I reckon that a cat can normally get through anywhere where water can!

    1. The slats are 3 inches apart so no they can't fit through, even the small ones.

    1. No, we can't afford to drive to the next county let alone take a trip anywhere for anything.

  6. Gate and fence look great, good job done there. 6 days of rain, that's easy, you should try 3 months, albeit a few nice days slotted here and there LOL

    1. The rain wouldn't bother me if we didn't have the pig this year. He pen is absolutely terrible.

    2. Sorry "His". I don't know how I can hit three buttons and come up with a whole different word with only two letters :/

  7. Hi Becky,

That fence and gate looks so good- ‘very tidy’ as they say as a high sign of merit here in Wales!!

  8. Looks very good! That's treated lumber aside from the pallet slats?

    1. Anything that touched the dirt is pressure treated.

    2. No concern, then, about chemical leaching. JR

    3. Boy do I hear that stupid crap a lot. Everything around you is made with some kind of bad chemical. Get used to it.

  9. lake water when wearing polarized sunglasses. It’s easier to see fish we want to catch, observe bottom features, or discover treasures like lost fishing lures with those glasses on. But how exactly do polarized lenses work?
