It must be spring! Just look at all the blooms on my peach tree. I am hoping I get more than the one peach I got last year off of this tree. I didn't prune it this winter and am very pleased with how well it has bloomed. As long as we don't get any more cold snaps and the tree doesn't drop to many, we should get at least a few peaches. Pinky, one of the cats, (I do not name them my daughter does) makes this picture even prettier.
Lands. I haven't had a peach tree for years. Between the frost and the borers, it just didn't seem worth the effort when I could buy them.
ReplyDeleteEven if it doesn't produce any fruit, it is a nice tree to look at!
ReplyDeleteThis is true. It is very pretty right now. Last year it didn't look anywhere near this nice and had a lot less blooms so I am hopeful for a crop this year.
Deleteliving in central florida, I cant grow a lot of fruit. wish I still lived in east Tennessee. I see you have a red Siamese just like my luci.....a totally adorable kitty.
ReplyDeleteThese cats are just part Siamese. Just mixed with someone's Siamese cat around here. We had several that year that were white -ish and had blue eyes.
DeleteOh so pretty, Becky! I love the bloom color on peaches and nectarines! I hope you have an abundance of peaches this year! Blessings from Bama!
ReplyDeleteHi Becky, your tree looks great, nice color. I've often thought about experimenting growing fruit bearing trees. Maybe I will look into it more. Hope you get some good peaches. Then, we can see pictures of some good peaches dishes.
