Sometimes it rains more...
Both my sons will be off to Afghanistan this year. I'm not liking it one bit. My youngest tell me more people die in car accidents than in Afghanistan. I am not comforted one bit.
He also tells me it will be good for his career, sigh. Yeah, that doesn't help much either. I can deal with it, nothing else to do but I wish they would send them somewhere else.
If you mention them on occasion, I'm sure some of us readers will say a few prayers for them. I just did. May God bless them and you.
ReplyDeleteStay strong Becky and have faith that they will come home safely.
ReplyDeleteHi Becky, Your feelings are certainly understandable to say the least. We'll be praying for their safe return to you.

Becky - I'm adding my prayers to yours - they are heard :)
ReplyDeleteOh, Becky, I'm so sorry :( I can't imagine your angst. Those stats wouldn't make me feel one bit better, either. (((((((((Becky)))))))
ReplyDeleteHi Becky,
ReplyDeleteAll the very best to you and your sons.

ReplyDeleteHi Becky, stay strong and it all goes well.
ReplyDeleteSending positive thoughts your way....
ReplyDeleteMy heart aches for you, as only another mother would trully know how you feel.
ReplyDeleteI pray they stay safe and will come home to you soon.
I know how you feel. Mine leaves in July. This is his second deployment; he already did a year in Irag.
