I like having tool that I don't have to plug in. I did not know it was a cheese crock, I have seen them before a few times but they always seem to be on someone's stove fill with grease but I knew that couldn't be the original use. becky3086https://www.blogger.com/profile/01026872543168452124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2424703824657047654.post-28071065776402573002012-09-22T20:24:04.999-04:002012-09-22T20:24:04.999-04:00the far right tool is what is called a yankee dril...the far right tool is what is called a yankee drill-it should take drill bits and screwdriver bits....the speckled jar looks like a cheese crock. i love old handtools and have a pretty good collection of them myself..they come in real handy when the electricity is off or you are needing them when there is no electric available. pears-i am waiting for the october pears to be ready..i love pears!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2424703824657047654.post-88678640657081487882012-09-22T20:16:22.994-04:002012-09-22T20:16:22.994-04:00Love the drills, I have one like the first one tha...Love the drills, I have one like the first one that was my grandfather's and one like the second one from when I used to do picture framing for a living. I canned potatoes for the first time today and am waiting on the canner to cool down to take them out! I will do this again, as Aldi has five pounds of potatoes for .99. I got fifteen pints using ten pounds. I think I'll use quarts next time, since I'm out of pint jars now!
